Terms of Service

Last updated: 10 August 2026

These terms govern use of CareHelm by the clinic that subscribes to it and by the staff accounts that clinic creates. They are the terms available today; formal legal review is in progress — see the notice above.

Acceptance of these terms

By creating a CareHelm account or using a workspace created by your clinic, you agree to these terms. If you are creating a workspace on behalf of a clinic, you confirm you are authorized to do so.

What CareHelm is

CareHelm is browser-based clinic management software: scheduling, patient records, clinical documentation, billing, and SMS/WhatsApp patient reminders, run inside a private workspace for each subscribing clinic.

Accounts

Each staff member signs in with their own account — CareHelm does not support shared logins. The clinic (through its administrator accounts) is responsible for creating, deactivating, and controlling the permissions of every staff account in its workspace.

The clinic's responsibilities

As the data controller for patient data (see the Privacy Policy), the subscribing clinic is responsible for: having a lawful basis and valid patient consent for the data it enters; the accuracy of the records its staff create; and responding to patient rights requests about their own records.

Documents generated in CareHelm, including digital prescriptions, may not have legal standing as an official medical or legal document in every jurisdiction. In Egypt today, a digital prescription generated in CareHelm has no legal standing on its own — check your local regulations before relying on a system-generated document as an official record.

Subscription, trial, and plans

New clinics get a 14-day free trial with no credit card required. After the trial, the clinic selects a paid plan (Starter, Clinic, or Group) to continue; if no plan is selected, the workspace pauses rather than being deleted — nothing in it is lost, and it resumes as soon as a plan is activated.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use CareHelm to store or transmit data you are not lawfully entitled to process, to attempt to access another clinic's workspace, or to interfere with the service's normal operation.

Data ownership and closing your workspace

The data entered into a clinic's workspace belongs to that clinic. A clinic may request its workspace be closed at any time; on request, we stop the subscription and handle any remaining data per the retention terms in the Privacy Policy.

Availability and support

We aim to keep CareHelm available and to fix reported problems promptly, but the service is provided without a guaranteed uptime commitment at this stage. This will be formalized once a service-level agreement is published.

Limitation of liability

CareHelm is provided as a tool to support clinic operations — it does not replace clinical judgement, and CareHelm is not liable for clinical decisions made using information recorded in it. To the extent permitted by law, CareHelm's liability for any claim is limited to the fees paid for the service in the 12 months before the claim.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product changes. Material changes will be reflected here with a new "last updated" date.
